My Aunt Martha's Husband Bill donated this trailer he painted to Grandpa & Grandma Fools Crow. I drove and pulled the trailer from Elgin, Illinois to Grandpa's home on the Rez in South Dakota.

Chief Fools Crow was the spiritual intercessor of the big Pow Wow in Denver. Over 4000 Native Peoples of different tribes participated.

Chief Fools Crow (Grandpa) and Buddy Red Bow (Music artist). Chief Fools Crow led the first and only legal Sun Dance that year. Buddy was 16 years old and one of the 16 dancers in that first Sun Dance. In today's reality, as many as 90 dancer's participate.

John Denver, Holmes Hendrix and my Foundation bought Grandpa Fools Crow a new 1979 Jeep. He and Grandma had no transportation. We hired a driver for them. In the picture: Dik, Grandma, Grandpa, Buddy Red Bow and Sonny Richards who was a medicine man who danced with Buddy in the first legal Sun Dance led by Chief Fools Crow.

Chief Fools Crow's (Grandpa's) house was burned down during the 1973 Wonded Knee incident. Most likely burned down by the "Goon Squad" who tightly controlled the Pine Ridge Agency. They are seen in the movie Thunderheart.

Ninety members of the Big Foot Riders had horses for the pall bearers. We rode behind of the wagon that had Grandpa's casket in. Chief Mel Lone Hill led the procession. We rode five miles to the burial grounds. The burial ceremony was conducted there.
Walmart Donated 3000 Pairs of new Shoes to the Foundation. The shoes were delivered to the Pine Ridge Reservation.

We delivered thousands of pounds of organic apples from our orchard to the food bank on the Rez with Geneva and Chief Mel Lone Hill.

Special friend Dorie Cofer and Dik in an old abandon car on Harris Sherman's mountain land. Harris, a lawyer, represented the Hopi Nation and other Native tribes. He won his first supreme court argument 9 - 0!!
